Made with Love, Care with Love

Sterling Silver

Silver will naturally tarnish when exposed to air, so storing it in an airtight container (ziplocks work great!) will help minimize the amount of care necessary.  To get rid of tarnish and maintain the matte finish, you can use a toothbrush with any white toothpaste. Silver cleaners will bring out a shiny finish so if you want to maintain the matte you can go over it with a very gentle blue scotch brite pad after.

18k Gold Vermeil

Our gold vermeil jewelry is a heavy 18K gold plating over sterling silver. To ensure the plating lasts a long time, store your jewelry in an airtight container when not being worn. In addition, plated jewelry should not be worn in swimming pools or while bathing, putting on perfumes or hairspray. If you would like to clean your plated jewelry, please do not use harsh chemicals - even jewelry cleaners. Gently rub using mild soap and water for best results.

Shakers & Glass Jewelry

Please treat the glass branch shakers and tubes as you would any piece of special jewelry.  They are durable, but not unbreakable.  They are not waterproof.  Please do not get them wet. When not worn, keep them in an airtight bag and store in the enclosed jewelry pouch.

For repairs, please refer to our policy page.  If you have questions regarding the best way to care for your piece, feel free to contact us at sales@catherineweitzman.com.
